House of Hope is a proposed recovery center planning to provide treatment for opioid and related addictions in an in-patient setting. State of the art recovery modalities and proven best practices for men in the Northern Panhandle of West Virginia will be deployed.  Further, the center will engage in vigorous outreach and education efforts in the schools, in faith communities, and service organizations of Brooke County.

The opioid crisis is particularly acute in rural America, where over 160 die each day from overdose.  The human and economic toll of this catastrophic loss of life is staggering. Every death is a tragedy for the individuals, their families, and their communities.

Now is time to confront the opioid crisis.  We know that recovery is possible. We know that American and Brooke County can do better.
